The innovation Incubator will identify and prioritize needs in cancer control research and service, enable evidence-based implementation and monitor progress in reducing cancer disparities. The Incubator is made up of three units:

Practice Surveillance Unit

Lead: Bettina Drake

This unit’s goal is to provide current data on cancer prevention and control risk factors and healthcare utilization from community and clinical data sources. These reports will be used to identify emerging issues and gaps in health needs.

Data Management Unit

Lead: Feng Gao

This unit’s goal is to assist with data planning, analysis, management and dissemination for all pilot projects affiliated with our center.

Membership Unit

Lead: Aimee James

This unit will help in assembling a diverse group of research and community partners to engage with our current research and to help identify future projects.
