Gretchen Buchanan is an NIMH T32 Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Mental Health Services Research in the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. She works on the pilot project Let’s start with what we know. She is interested in improving access to high-quality behavioral health services through integration in primary care, with a particular focus on mental health equity.

She received her PhD at the University of Minnesota while studying the implementation of integrated behavioral healthcare, parent-child relationships, and preventive parenting programs. She also has an MA from the University of Nevada, Reno and BA from the University of Portland, and is a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed alcohol and drug counselor.
